Binding thesis
Where can I upload my thesis file?
You can attach the file directly from the product sheet, together with the other customization fields of the thesis.
What types of files are allowed?
To avoid creating layout problems, the essay file and the title page file must necessarily be in .pdf format.
Do files have a maximum size?
You can upload files up to a maximum weight of 30MB (this is a considerable size that will allow you to avoid problems during the upload phase). In case of difficulty, write us at vanessa@youni.life and we will help you.
If you want to speed up loading times we recommend compressing your thesis before uploading (the best free online tool for compressing .pdf files is ilovepdf).
I wrote a longer thesis of 140 pages. Can I bind it anyway?
Our covers can can hold up to 140 sheets. If your thesis exceeds this threshold, we will only be able to print it in double-sided mode. We will also apply a surchage from the 141s page below. The surcage is 0,10€ for each side printed in black and white and 0,50€ for each side printed in colour.
Would I like to purchase two products with different colors and/or covers? Can I?
Certainly! Once you have added the first thesis to the cart, just press the green “Continue shopping” button to exit the cart and return to the shop. From there you can customize your second thesis with other colors and cover templates.
Will my frontespiece be printed only on the cover or also inside?
For aesthetic reasons, we usually print the frontespiece both on the external cover and on the first paper page of the thesis.
If it’s not what you want, feel free to let us know in the “order notes” field on the checkout page.
If I find an error in my file, can I modify the file even if I have already finished the order?
Contact us as soon as possible to avoid printing your thesis with the wrong file.
You can send us the new corrected file by email to monia@youni.life.
Please, let us know quickly, because if we have already completed the binding of your thesis you will have to make a new purchase.
What changes between the Nürma life theses (classical) and the Dandy and Fashion life theses (high quality)?
Nürma life theses are similar to those you can find in other copy shops in Genoa; you can choose between four cover colors and gold or silver title page printing.
TDandy and Fashion life theses, however, differ radically from any thesis you can find in Genoa. They are in fact bound with high quality covers and are finished with parchment endpapers and fabric capitals. The final result is uniquely beautiful.
What type of binding do you do?
We use a milled perfect binding process. Unlike the binding used by most copy shops, this type of binding allows you to create volumes that are more resistant over time and easier to browse.
In Genoa we are one of the few bookbinders to bind rigid theses with a milled paperback binding process
What is the flyleaf?
The “flyleaf” is the first and last sheet you will find when browsing through your thesis. It is also applied to the inside of the cover.
What is the bookbinding headband?
The bookbinding headband will give your book a deluxe look.
They are are small cotton ribbons placed at the ends of the back. They are white and green in color and we only use them for the theses of the Dandy and Fashion Life lines.

Is it possible to request a vegan or vegetarian menu?
Yes, each location we have selected is able to offer a menu for vegans or vegetarians. In this case it is necessary to inform us in advance so that we can organize ourselves as best as possible.
Is it possible to request a separate menu for guests with allergies or intolerances?
Yes, each location we have selected is able to offer tailored menù for guests with allergies or intolerances. In this case it is necessary to inform us in advance so that we can organize ourselves as best as possible.
Can I bring a cake? Can you prepare it for me?
Each location we have selected is can prepare a dessert or a cake fpr you. In any case, it is possible to bring a cake purchased elsewhere, just remember to bring the receipt and the list of ingredients with you.

Can I also request a photo shoot both before and during the graduation reception?
Yes! We work with professional photographers who can capture every moment of your party: from the day of the proclamation to the graduation party. Write to us in advance at vanessa@youni.life in order to organize ourselves as best as possible.
Are you also offer a DJ set service?

Is it possible to play music by connecting to Spotify and similar services?
Yes, each location we have selected has speakers and audio systems available that you can use on the day of your graduation party.

Is it possible to request an entire area reserved for us?
Yes, each location we have selected has rooms that can be reserved for small and large groups.
Is it possible to organize a party outside the opening hours of the location?
Yes, our selected locations are available to open specifically for you. Others have detached rooms available specifically designed for private parties with many guests.
Are there parking lots close to the location?
There are parkings near each location. Each location is easily reachable even by public transport.
Are the locations accessible to disabled people?
Yes, each location is equipped with compliant entrances and accessible to all.
Payments and reservations
How much notice will I have to book?
The earlier you book, the better!
Graduations take place over a few weeks and we often receive requests for the same day and time. Our advice is to book as soon as you have confirmation of the date and time of the discussion. Fortunately we have 15 locations available with numerous places both indoors and outdoors.
Will I pay in advance or on the day of the graduation party?
Unfortunately we have had cancellations happen when we had already organized everything: from the buffet to the preparation of the tables. For this reason we prefer ask for a deposit. This policy will allow us to work and organize ourselves as best we can 🙂 It will always be possible to “put things right” if the number of people increases or decreases.
What payment methods do you accept?
You can pay by debit card, credit card or by bank transfer.
May I request a tax invoice?
Of course, it will be sufficient to inform us when confirming the booking. We will take care of attaching a copy of the invoice together with the commercial receipt.

La corona d’alloro sarà della misura perfetta per me?
Assolutamente si! Non correrai il rischio di acquistare un prodotto non indossabile 😉

Mi date qualche consiglio per conservare la coroncina prima e dopo il giorno della mia laurea?
Ti consigliamo di lasciare la coroncina in un luogo buio e fresco fino al giorno della discussione. L’ideale sarebbe conservarla in frigorifero o in cantina.
Le fogli ed i fiori che utilizzate sono freschi? Rimarranno belli anche per il giorno della mia laurea?
Le nostre corone d’alloro sono realizzate con prodotti freschi, acquistati dal fornitore il giorno stesso o precedente alla preparazione della coroncina.
Per la miglior resa, ti consigliamo di indicare come data di consegna il giorno precedente la discussione di laurea e di seguire le nostre indicazioni sulla corretta conservazione della coroncina.
Le foto del catalogo sono fedeli alla realtà?
Assolutamente si: le coroncine fotografate sono state realizzate dai nostri fioristi e le foto sono state scattate da un fotografo professionista.
Trattandosi di prodotti freschi ed essendo la mano del fiorista diversa l’una dall’altra, aspettati qualche piccola differenza nella dimensione della foglia, del fiore e delle resa estetica della coroncina.

Can I pay in cash at the pick-up point?
We only accept cash in our local shop located in via S.Martino 17E red.
I have a discount code. Where should I put it?
The discount code must be entered on the cart page, in the box below the summary of your order. Remember that, once entered, you will have to validate the discount code by clicking on the “apply coupon” button.
Shipping terms
What are your shipping times?
You can choose delivery in 24 hours or 3 working days.
- We guarantee next day delivery only if we receive the definitive file and you make the payment until 12am
- If you chose delivery in 3 working days and you place an order on Monday until 12.00 am, it will be delivered on Thursday at 4pm
- If you chose delivery in 3 working days and you place an order on Monday after 12.00 am, it will be delivered on Friday at 4pm
- In the case of home delivery, shipping takes place within 24/48 hours
- In the case of laurel wreaths, we require at least 3 working days notice
Delivery time:
1. Pick-up point in 3 days: delivery is free and takes place in 3 working days. If you place an order after 12.00 am, the days will be counted starting from the next one.
2. Pick-up point in 24 hours: there is a €3 supplement. The thesis will be delivered the following day only if we receive the definitive file and you make the payment until 12am.
3. Home delivery in 24/48 hours: it costs 8,5€. The thesis will be delivered to the courier the same day of the order only if we receive the definitive file and you make the payment until 12am.
Please note: shipping costs apply to the total and are not applied to each product you add to the cart.
What is meant by 24 hour delivery?
By 24 hour delivery we mean delivery on the next working day.
Therefore, for example, if you place an order at 9 in the morning, it could also be delivered to you the afternoon of the following day.
In any case, we guarantee delivery by the next working day only for orders completed by midday.
In the case of home delivery, shipping takes place within 24/48 hours.
Do you also deliver on weekends and holidays?
No, we only deliver on working days. Take this into account when choosing delivery times.
Is there a risk that my order will be damaged during shipping?
In case of home delivery, your order will be packaged and shipped in a rigid box. It will arrive at its destination in perfect condition 🙂
If your order arrives damaged you can ask for a new product to be sent at no cost to you.
Do you deliver throughout Italy?
Yes! For shipments to Sicily and Sardinia contact us at vanessa@youni.life, we will give you a personalized quote.

Return and refund policies
Can I request a refund?
If the thesis is damaged or you notice something incorrect in your order, contact us at vanessa@youni.life, we will then send a new product back to you, at our cost.
Can I exercise the right of withdrawal?
In accordance with art. 59 of the Consumer Code, the right of the right of withdrawal is excluded if you have purchased tailor-made or customized products.
In case of not perishable or personalized good, therefore you have 14 days to exercise the right of withdrawal. The hat must be returned to us in new condition and you will be responsible for the return shipping costs.
